Magnesium malate is a compound that pairs the essential mineral magnesium with malic acid, a naturally occurring organic acid found in apples and other fruits. Magnesium is involved in more than 300 processes in the body — from energy production to muscle and nerve function — yet many people fall short of the amount they need through diet alone.

The magnesium side

Why the malate form

Not all magnesium is absorbed equally. Take as directed on the label. Magnesium is often best split into two servings across the day and taken with food to maximise comfort and absorption. Because magnesium supports relaxation, some people prefer a serving in the evening to help wind down.

Start at the lower end of the range if you are new to magnesium, and increase gradually. If you take other medications, check with a healthcare professional, as magnesium can interact with certain drugs. 

Each 50 ml shot delivers 15,000 mg of wild-caught hydrolysed marine collagen peptides (Type I & III) — the connective-tissue proteins most abundant in skin. The peptides are hydrolysed into small fragments for easy mixing and a light taste, with no added sugar, no fillers and natural sweetening.

The shot is built as a complete beauty-routine serving rather than collagen alone: it adds 80 mg vitamin C, 100 mg hyaluronic acid and 300 mcg biotin. Vitamin C is included because it is required for the body's own normal collagen formation; biotin supports hair and skin maintenance.

Collagen is the most abundant protein in skin, and dietary intake is hard to reach in meaningful amounts. Many collagen products 'fairy-dust' a few hundred milligrams onto the label. We formulated a genuine clinical-dose 15,000 mg liquid shot, and — crucially — added the vitamin C the body actually needs to form its own collagen, so the serving is functionally complete rather than collagen in isolation.
